Account data: name, email, hashed password, and the exam(s) you choose to target. Provided by you at sign-up.
Usage data: tests attempted, answers chosen, time per question, streaks, bookmarks, wrong-question deck. Used to power your dashboard and analytics.
Payment data: when you buy Pass Pro, Razorpay collects your card / UPI / bank details on their secure servers. We only store the order id, transaction status and the package you bought.
Technical data: device type, browser, IP-derived city/country, and anonymous error logs. Used to keep the service reliable.
Provide and improve the Practice Banking service (mock tests, AI quiz generation, analytics, leaderboard).
Send transactional emails: password resets, payment receipts, and important account notices.
Detect fraud, abuse and protect our infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to advertisers.
Some questions are generated by Anthropic's Claude model. The topic you choose (e.g. 'Banking awareness') is sent to the model; your personal data is never shared with the AI provider.
Daily current-affairs quizzes are generated server-side once per day and shared with all users — no personalisation involves your private data.

Practice Banking is intended for users aged 18+ preparing for banking and government exams. Users under 18 should use the service only with a parent or guardian's consent.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt; sessions use signed JWT tokens. Payments are processed by Razorpay (we never see your card details). The service is hosted on encrypted infrastructure.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable email verification.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page and announced via email at least 7 days before they take effect.
